My Journey in Pet Care
I started my journey in pet care as a Veterinarian Technician at a learning hospital directly out of my internship in Phoenix, AZ. This experience provided me with a solid foundation in animal health and care. Working alongside experienced veterinarians, I gained invaluable hands-on experience and learned the importance of compassion and precision in treating pets. Eager to expand my knowledge, I then apprenticed under a talented and knowledgeable dog groomer. This opportunity allowed me to explore the grooming side of pet care, where I developed skills in styling, bathing, and understanding different breeds' grooming needs. Each step of my journey has deepened my love for animals and my commitment to providing them with the best care possible.
I later transitioned into a doggy daycare and boarding facility where I had the privilege of mentoring under a very knowledgeable woman. She taught me that the rehabilitation of dogs is not only possible but also incredibly rewarding. During my time there, I learned to identify various behavior patterns in dogs, which helped me understand their needs better. This experience solidified my belief in the potential for positive change in our furry friends. Each day brought new challenges and successes, further fueling my passion for animal care and rehabilitation. I am dedicated to applying the skills I learned to help dogs lead happier, healthier lives.
Local shelter support
I volunteer as much as possible at Tri-lakes animal Shelter in Reeds Springs, MO. This includes providing baths, basic grooming, and comforting anxious animals to help them feel more at ease while awaiting their forever homes. Our goal is to make these pets more adoptable and improve their overall well-being.
